I stayed at this hotel and found it to be a mix of positives and negatives. The room I got was quite small for the price paid, but it was nicely done and comfortable. I had requested a quiet room during my reservation, but I was placed on the 2nd Floor, facing both the side street and back parking lot, which turned out to be great as it allowed me to watch parking availability open up.

The service was top-notch with excellent amenities available, though the price was slightly high. The location couldn't be beat, being close to everything in the heart of town. Dining was good, albeit a bit pricey, offering a nice selection of dishes. Overall, a great stay with a few minor hiccups.

The hotel had some positives like a good location near downtown Nelson and not far from the waterfront, but the rooms with bunk beds and single beds above double beds overlooked a liquor store parking lot, where young people gathered in the evening to smoke pot. The lack of soundproofing and amenities like a fridge or coffee pot in the room were not ideal.
